Matru Sewa Sangh Family Counselling Centre

Family counseling centre was started at the initiative of Late Dr. Satyabala Tayal then the President of Matru Sewa Sangh in 1987 initially at Govt. Medical College and Matru Sewa Sangh Institute of Social Work, Bajaj Nagar. From the first year itself this project got the grant from Central Social Welfare Board, New Delhi.
At present this Project gets 90% from Central Social Welfare Board and Matru Sewa Sangh contributes 10% per year. From 1987 to date this project has handled many cases and has found amenable solutions to problems of many cases.

Objectives And Aims

  • To help solve family problems so that all family members can lead a peaceful and harmonious life.
  • To help exploited women and children to rehabilitate.
  • Counsel estranged couples and their families regarding their marital problems.
  • To aware people in communities regarding laws about women, children and senior citizen.
  • Try to keep family members together through counseling regarding their respective conflicts.
  • To aware society regarding various social issues.

Infrastructure of Project

The centre is located at Bajaj Nagar which is very well-known area and it is near to the famous ‘Deeksha Bhoomi’. Public transport facility is easily available for this area . Total 668.5 sq. ft area is available for family counseling centre with the facility of toilet and there are some toys for children’s also.
