Matru sewa Masik was started in 1966 by Late Padmashri Kamalatai Hospet the founder of Matru Sewa Sangh. The first editor of Matru Sewa Masik was Smt. Pramilatai Dani then the President of Matru Sewa Sangh.

History

Matru Sewa Masik was started in 1966. In the beginning Mr. Bapurao Thakare an handicapped person was instrumental in taking out stensils of the masik and cyclostyling the matter of masik. Later on Mr. Hardulkar joined for printing and publishing of this Masik. Smt. Pramilatai Dani was followed by Sau. Indumati Deshmukh, Sau. Indumati Gandhe, Sau. Sunanda Mohini and now Mrs. Jayashri Pendherkar as Editors.

Objectives

Objective is to establish communication between all the branches, projects and activities of Matru Sewa Sangh. The Aim of Matru Sewa Masik is to publish articles, information regarding awareness and promotion of health of women and children, also motivate the women to write articles in the magazine.

Features

Matru Sewa Masik publishes monthly. Total 12 magazines are issued in a year including one annual report of Matru Sewa Sangh.
