Divyang Rehabilitation Centre
Matru Sewa Sangh started this project in 2003-04 with the objective of training the handicapped in various vocational skills which would enable them to be financially self sufficient and also to become a useful member of the society. Besides financial independence to render emotional and social support with the objective of enabling them to become part of the main stream. This project is run purely on donations received from philanthropist. The teachers are on honorary basis. They are paid honorarium from donations received in the project. Placement of students: Bank, Petrol pump, clerks, typist, government services for e.g. Assistant Commissioner Office of Provident fund etc.

- Tailoring – 7 Sewing Machines
Objective of their project, aims & mottos of their working capabilities
Enhancing and strengthening their self image with continued counseling to enable them to accept their handicap and to overcome inferiority complex.
Exposure to society by introducing them to take part in educational, social and sport activities.
Helping them with scholarship, aids and medical assistance e.g. calipers, crutches and tri-cycles, sewing machines etc. & necessary facilities
Importance of Branch
As Matru Sewa Sangh is centrally situated it is convenient for Handicap students to come. All students are from low economic& social strata.
Vocational training is free to the students.

Future vision & mission of their project
Imparting basic knowledge of English, Mathematics& General knowledge to handicap students motivating them to appear not only in University exams but for Competitive exams to get a proper job placement of the students in various jobs.

- Ari/Zerdosi work
- Artificial jewelry, halwa ornaments
- Embroidery
- Garment fitting and alteration
- Sari fall/picot, Blouse, Salwarkamij,Bags &Cotton Garments for Newborn babies.
- Household products- whitephenol, black phenol , liquid soap, herbalshampoo,candles making,incense sticks(agarbatti),masala, various pickles, various chatnis and Til-Gul for ‘Sankrant’
Information about any social activities done
Free picnic to nearby spots along with these children. Trips are arranged by obtaining donations from public.
The inner feeling about our efforts for the welfare of the Handicapped students are expressed in following lines “My heart is a cabbage divided in to two, the leaves I give it to others but the heat to my students.”
